Although the filing makes no mention of any specific products, it does list the most recent Bluetooth 5.3 standard and makes reference to a previous listing regarding macOS, which could indicate that the filing is connected to upcoming Macs. According to the report, Apple will release updated models of the MacBook Air and Mac Pro in the first half of 2023.
Both new Macs might be unveiled as early as March or April, perhaps concurrently with the launch of macOS 13.3. Apple recently updated a number of its products, including the iPhone 14 series, the most recent iterations of the Apple Watch, and the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini, among other things.
Once a product has launched, Apple usually goes back and updates the Bluetooth Launch Studio listings. It’s still unknown whether Apple intends to hold a press event in March or April this year, or if new products will be revealed via press releases.
Since Apple is anticipated to switch to the M3 chip later in the year, the new MacBook Air and Mac Pro could be the final M2 series models.
